I understand the key - value is like redis database, all the query by primary key hash to query, not because the amount of data and slow growth;

Mongo, although there is a default id, but we never use this id, queries are indexed to check, and directing index is b-tree index, so wondered why says mongo must be the key - value database? Where is the key - value characteristics mention now?? !
