CodePudding user response:

My suggestion is implement com.android.support:appcompat-v7:31.0.0

And enable jetifire by adding the line below to your gradle.properties android.enableJetifier=true

CodePudding user response:

Try this I have got same issue with Jitsi It was resolved with this

 dependencyResolutionManagement {

    repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
    repositories {
        google()
        mavenCentral()
        maven { url 'https://maven.google.com'}
        maven { url 'https://www.jitpack.io' }
        maven { url 'https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-maven-repository/raw/master/releases' }

ADD THIS code--------------------
  //noinspection JcenterRepositoryObsolete
        jcenter() {
            content {

                includeModule("com.yqritc", "android-scalablevideoview")
