I recently started developing C. And I can't find any error in the code, I would appreciate it if you could point it out to me (thanks in advance)
int* decode(int* encoded, int encodedSize, int first, int* returnSize){
*returnSize=encodedSize 1;
int *arr=malloc(encodedSize * sizeof(int) 1);
arr[0] = first;
for (int i=0;i<encodedSize;i ){
arr[i 1]=encoded[i] ^ arr[i];
}
return arr;
}
I really don't understand what the problem is because I dynamically allocated memory for the array. error:

CodePudding user response:
I think you mean
(encodedSize 1) * sizeof(int)
not
encodedSize * sizeof(int) 1
you want an extra int , not an extra byte (I think)
Becaase of this
arr[i 1]=encoded[i] ^ arr[i];
