The error message seems to indicate the problem has nothing to do with your "NEW Macbook M1 Pro chip 14". Instead it says that your build uses deprecated features.

Have you tried installing an older gradle version in Android Studio? You might be able to run it then.

I use build types with different flavors. They must be inserted outside the Android tag with the new version of the gradle. Copy and Paste your build.gradle file
