Unable to access url without index.php in CodeIgniter project-CodePudding

This is what I use in my htdocs, you can try it in your project:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L]

You can try it in on your htdoc project folder:
