I found another Stack Overflow question with the same problem but wasn't able to solve my problem. I tried many things that removing useless props but didn't work.
CodePudding user response:
Is window
defined in your Settings Component when you run this code? Since Next.js pre-renders the page server-side before sending it to the client, it may be unavailable. Because of that, you may need to perform that logic inside a useEffect
hook to execute it in the browser.
I faced a similar problem when I was trying to access a value from localStorage
.
