I have build a flask API in Python. It will when you go to the home page display a page with information. The API works as I want, however my tests fails.
All days: http://127.0.0.1:3000/api/v1/resources/today/all
Today by ID: http://127.0.0.1:3000/api/v1/resources/today?id=2
Today by month and day: http://127.0.0.1:3000/api/v1/resources/today?month=05&day=06

CodePudding user response:
In your test_home()
function, you need to assert the response.get_data()
with home_str
. Instead of "GET method called"
.
response.get_data
returns the string representation of the request body.
So your last line, should look like this:
self.assertEqual(home_str, response.get_data(as_text=True))
