I am following the confluent example here https://docs.confluent.io/platform/current/platform-quickstart.html#step-1-download-and-start-cp
After run the docker-compose up -d
, all the topics, streams, tables are gone when I shutdown the server.
Is there any way to persist it? I am looking for the file location of all topics, streams and tables stored at, so that I can do a bind-mount to my host pc. That way it can persist.
below is the docker-compose.yml file,

CodePudding user response:
Use Docker volumes to persist data for the containers
You only need mounts for Kafka and Zookeeper to keep topics around. Streams and tables in ksql are stored as regular Kafka topics
https://docs.confluent.io/platform/current/installation/docker/operations/external-volumes.html
Or, don't use Docker, and run everything directly on your host
