I am using svg icons for my webpage and when i put them inside a hyperlink tag "" a hyphen appears on the right side of the icon.

</div>how it looks As you can see in the image i can even highligth the hyphen as if it was text.
I tried using other tags like button and they work just fine, so it only happens when i use hyperlink, i would like to know if there is a way to fix it so i can keep using the hyperlink tag or if i have to use button instead. Apparently in the stack overflow code snippet it doesn't happen :/ maybe it is because i'm using bootsrap?

It could be an underlined whitespace. Try this css rule:
a.link-dark {
text-decoration:none;
font-size:0;
}
You can either set the font size to 0, remove them in the html, or use css flexbox. Just as you like.
