New to 3 d reconstruction of things, want to consult you experienced Daniel:
Say the first target object: leather shoes soles, tip of the shoe sole and heel is 2 cm height difference,
Reconstruction goal: the sole, 3 d reconstruction in the reconstruction of 3 d model to extract of sole edge and discrete took out 3 d coordinate point set,

Is there anyone who has done similar project, can you help to solve this problem under direction,

Before dealing with good, the sole area is black, other area is white
