Email attachments how to decode correctly?

Time:10-01

In foxmail, I joined a word attachment, check email source code, is to use base64 encoding, and then a decoding of search on the Internet website, decoding out is garbled! But if the attachment is not a word but TXT can correct decoding, is this why? Also seen on the Internet related problem, does not address, also please masters to help you!

CodePudding user response:

May you didn't set the end of file processing, text can see because showing byte directly, at the end of the invisible characters can't see it, doc file format will be strictly judgment, will can't open it, you get an individual file format try it again, say what compressed files,

CodePudding user response:

Tried, compressed file also not line, tried a few TXT can at the moment

CodePudding user response:

It is not proved my guess? Compared to the length of a text file, you should not the same, debugged could have found the problem, not complicated

CodePudding user response:

Pay attention to the coding, the MIME encoding base64 encoding of the text when using Unicode encoding, if it is a binary data, directly as a byte array code, can be decoded directly

direct decoding is garbled

CodePudding user response:

For computer no noise, only the binary bytes; To the human brain is gibberish, GBK: 0 xb0 0 xa1, Unicode - 16 LE: 0 x4a 0 x55, Unicode - 16 BE: 0 x55 0 x4a, utf-8 8-0 x95 xE5 0 0 x8a

That such is not garbled code how I handle it?

CodePudding user response:

PK is the beginning of the zip need to extract the data,

Note: docx, XLSX PPTX is zip compression of XML

That I see, my attachment is word format, lead to this problem is no decompression, I'll through the base64 encoding how decompression?

Word file itself if you view the file data directly, is the statement, only through word program can interpret his data

Don't hurry to extract,
Try to install or support Word2007 Word2007 or above or more plug-ins,
