Relay can produce square wave Fourier decomposition?

Time:09-17

If I square wave is to use relay the opening and closing of the (assuming the relay driven by frequency of 1 k), rather than through the function generator, then can end up with square wave Fourier decomposition? After decomposition will be what kind of?

I use Multisim simulation when the relay output spectrum and relay control signal in the form of spectrum is the same, what explains this?

The simulation diagram is on the first floor

My understanding is square wave produced by the switch should not contain the frequency components?

CodePudding user response:

Square wave Fourier expansion is the fundamental frequency and N odd harmonics

Relay drive by 1 k frequency, then the fundamental frequency is 1 k,
