I'm in equipment automation.
Now in automation line body internal need to use the database. The concrete is: 10 sets about the machine (industrial) network, one of them as a server, set up the database server, as the data storage. Other machines (industrial), using TCP/IP remote connection, database operation.
Data volume: about 50 every day (char) * (data) of 50 * 7000 (article) capacity., data manipulation about 7000 * 10 * 10 times a day,
Initially using the Access, but found that the performance is not stable, has now been replaced with MySQL. No problem on performance.
The question now is this line body cost is higher, then we are sold to manufacturers.
Recently saw MySQL license terms, this could be held.

Want to ask next, this kind of application environment if there are other products can replace for free?
