Strprovince cstrings variables, is a public value from combox

Cstrings strmysql;
Strmysql. The Format (_T (" select distinct city from dbo. PCC where province='% s' "), strprovince);
AfxMessageBox (strmysql);

Why can't the strprovince assign values to the STRSQL, tried more than 10 kinds of methods are not?
