Ask a question of oracle, exported. DMP with utraledit after modify the character set, error will cause the DMP file, how to modify. DMP character set

Export of DMP can't modify the character set, highly recommended, because import will appear all sorts of problems, after the late maintenance problems will be more! This and do not modify the Windows registry backup files is the same reason,

Import, oracle will automatically convert object library character set, don't you modify by hand

Can convert each other character sets, database automatic conversion, such as ZHS16GBK and AL32UTF8, cannot turn, you do not, for example US7ASCII and ZHS16GBK

1, do not suggest modify the DMP file character set;
2, if want to change, need to change two place, very easy to get wrong format DMP head was damaged,
3, if must change DMP, need to provide original exp version, the original character set, the target character set

Select * from v $nls_parameters where parameter='NLS_CHARACTERSET';
Export NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA. ZHS16GBK
