Stand-alone version of PB program (even with background database) is a C/S mode? C/S should be at least two computer?

Can be assigned to the two machine, is not must
Three layer structure also can be in one machine

Then why do I see some of the big system are the server and client?
You say that PB as long as the background database is C/S?

Can't really say, see, is how to establish a connection between pb and database, I have done, with pb by providing the ejb proxy, implementation of three layer structure, database connection part are implemented in the Java bean, in other words, connect to the database directly with pb both ado and odbc or special interface, should be c/s mode,

C/S is the server/client software, even a single run, it is a local database server, same, nature is changeless,
