Recent company is going to change the VPN, using the new VPN connection database, but the PING of the network is connected, the old VPN can normal login, ask the network department said network no problem, but with a new VPN connection prompt error 53, ask everybody to help under, thank you!

Try to check the used ports used is limited by VPN firewall, is essentially the default is to use port 1433

If you can PING database server IP, TELNET database server IP 1433 try, if TELNET impassability, look to the firewall, VPN server to estimate firewall stopped,
