Pure static page makes little sense, manifest the CSS skills, companies recruit one who is, won't make you do a static page (unless it's website), the interaction and the form check these do perfect (literally do a can) can reflect the js related ability, can with the server-side API to interact with local json file or browser cache implementation basic logic can be,
