Personally don't recommend use session to store user information on the server, now more popular use memory libraries/no (for example: Redis, mongo. Convenient in addition will ease the pressure on the server cluster, if cluster not to use it, access speed is very fast, coupled with the client-side storage (popular browsers support of the Local storage, indexed DB, if considering commonality can be compatible with a js library)
