The kernel is assigned to a serial port to receive the cache?

Time:09-29

My serial port is 16550 a, the chip hardware fifo for 16 byte,

Under a machine sent 18 bytes, if the application is not the first time to read, that the question of whether or not to be overrun? Or kernel with the cache, 18 bytes can be cached?

CodePudding user response:

A cache, but capacity is limited, to charge in a timely manner
