Our company recently bought new x3850 x6 server, using the M5210 array CARDS, with 1 g cache update, without battery, using 7 pieces of 1.2 T SAS hard disk 10 k to form raid5, first check the array in the BIOS, found in the default way to write - through, and cannot be directly transferred into the write - back, install Windows 2012 r2 system, using diskmark speed, display for at 2000 m/s, but continuous writing only 45 m/s,
Later we in the BIOS, forced open always write - back, after entering system, speed again, read speed has not changed, the write speed was 115 m/s,
Want to ask next, the write speed for raid5 normal? If it is not normal, is to adjust the Settings, or array not the card itself?
