Is set wrong, if you are using is integrated rhett crab card (now the computer is the commonly, a handful of integrated innovation liveX, older and AC '97), confirm set inside of the front panel audio source is enabled, if you insert the earphone you have to unplug the headset first put music to listen to sound, so you take the "rear insert earphone when make audio mute" option is removed
