Questions about the LVM system snapshot

Time:11-21

Recently the Linux learning in watching birds and about the logical volume manager snapshot function, one part don't understand
Bird elder brother have a picture in the book introduces the principle of the LVM (LV for vbirdlv originally, snapshot LV vbirdss) :

For this photo my understanding is:
Snapshot area=vbirdss + vbirdlv unchanged in PE
So I think that in fact the LVM system snapshot or rely on the real system file

Birds but elder brother and said can run amok in the vbirdss directly, then just delete snapshot vbirdss:

we will originally vbirdlv as the backup data, then vbirdss
As actual operating data, in any action test among vbirdss this snapshot area test, so when the test is to test the data delete, as long as the snapshot area can be deleted, and then copy a vbirdlv system, and then do another snapshot area,

I guess:
Because on the snapshot operation can not affect the real system, so the changes of snapshots can only be limited to the picture on the left side of the vbirdss, that is to say, if vbirdss capacity is 100 MB, so change the amount of data that can't more than the 100 MB, right?
