Don't turn off,
Each element has a 8-bit family code and 48 - bit SN (including eight CRC 64 total)
If your other modules not 18 b20, directly by the 8-bit family code can differentiate,
If your other modules is 18 b20, see a bit more specific process datasheet "DS18B20 Operation Example 1"
