Recently in learning network, and now each should have a router, if the home router connected to several PCS is equivalent to the PC belongs to within a local area network (LAN)? So to understand?

All routers are now outside so WAN connection outside network, is the ISP suppliers, typically by PPPOE dial, after successful ISP suppliers assign router WAN port on an external network address;
Internal will have a DHCP server, router LAN port to connect to the WIFI network equipment, through DHCP access to a network address,
