Normally Gold Architecture is known as "Gold structure:

Brower - & gt; The Internet - & gt; Firewall 1 - & gt; The Load Balance - & gt; A Web Server - & gt; Firewall 2 - & gt; Application Server - & gt; Firewall 3 - & gt; The Database

I have two questions to ask:
1. Why the Web Server and Application Server to have a Firewall between their role and contact?

2. Why there are three in the Gold Architecture is Firewall they respectively have what use? .
