The router's small problems, how packets are forwarded?

Time:10-18

Want to ask some basic questions about the router, thank you,

My hand there is a wireless router, there is a wireless communication module, WAN, LAN,
So the Internet is can dial through wireless communication module (SIM), WAN port pppoe or static IP allocation,
Use ifconfig on router, you can see all the IP address of the interface (usb0/eth0 eth1)

Dial-up is hypothesis through wireless module (usb0 virtual network), assigned to the usb0 interface IP for 10.61.203.155,
And then assume LAN IP for 192.168.8.1 mouth, and then pick up the one on the LAN host, assigned to the IP for 192.168.8.2

Now on the router board ping 192.168.8.2, can be ping,
If caught in this host, see the source IP address is 192.168.8.1,,

I think is Mr. Into an IP packet, and then to check the routing table, routing table can view to 192.168.8.2 out interface (eth1), then the
Send out, so what is the source IP address of IP packets,,

Secondly if it is passed the NAT transformation, internal conversion is a router? Because I am the iptables rules, didn't see about NAT rules,

Thank you,,
I am a little white,,

CodePudding user response:

In 192 on a router's address, the ping of the same network segment address no routing, sent on port directly,
