Is based on the current domestic each big security vendors do ONVIF certification, the current study of ONVIF certification documentation, but there are a lot of details in the document is not in detail, about some technical details, or clear enough, hope can through this post, by everybody's mutual discussion, sharing results, allows us to be able to familiar with ONVIF certification testing as soon as possible
Now I have some questions as follows, hope to get insight of answer:
1. ONVIF certification test is divided into two kinds, one is the Device, the second is the Client, in general, the network camera is a Device, other similar NVR is the Client, but I think there are some other manufacturers is NVR Device types through certification, I don't know what this is?
2. Client authentication Tool is CTT (ONVIF Client Test Tool), but the latest CTT (2019.12) not able to select the Test Case, or only Test one Profile Cases, this is very headache, because my device can only support one of the Profile, but a Test is required for all Profile Cases are run time, a waste of time, does not support is there any other solutions? Still have even if just want to verify one of the case, how to operate?
(3) the CTT generated test results may also have some questions, now can only generate Temporary DoC with Errata documents, but which Fail my Client do not support ONVIF, but again in test results with the item, don't know whether this file can send test? Or have other roundabout way,
