how do i make footer go full width with this layout-CodePudding

How to edit my html schema (or play with css) to make footer (that green box) go full width (of the blue container) and ignore that padding which is applied to a form?

I tried adding a helper parent div so i can remove padding from a form and add it to that helper div but for some reason content expands so much and i cant manage to make it work.

It needs to be a form, and i need that padding which pushes scroll from the edge, so it cannot be changed.

I would give the footer { this CSS:

height:50px;
position: fixed;
bottom: 0;
width: 45rem;

Basically "fixing" the footer to the bottom, with a height of 50px (or whatever you choose) and a width the same as the form (in this case 45rem)

And then give the form { some padding-bottom to account for the footer's height of 50px ..
